Electrolytic manganese is a pure form of the metal element manganese (Mn), with a manganese content ranging between 99.7% and 99.9%. It may contain impurities such as carbon (C), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), iron (Fe), silicon (Si), and selenium (Se). In the steel industry, metallic manganese is widely utilized as a deoxidizer, desulfurizer, and alloying agent.
